Eatery Chain's Austin Unit Adds Pay-At-Table To Menu.

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Austin, Texas, is part of a national chain of fine-dining restaurants.

Businesspersons on expense accounts eat there daily and the restaurant, which serves up to 350 diners, fills on weekends with families, Sal Olivas, the general manager, tells ATM &Debit News.

And beginning this week, those families and business people will share something besides the love of a good, juicy steak.

All will have the option of paying for their meals at the table without their credit cards or debit cards leaving their hands, Olivas says.
