Fed: Lees says she will contest Stott Despoja challenge

CANBERRA, Feb 27 AAP - Australian Democrats leader Meg Lees said today she would fight
any challenge for the leadership of the party by her deputy, Natasha Stott Despoja.

Senator Stott Despoja will challenge Senator Lees for the leadership if an expected
spill is called by members, a spokeswoman for the party deputy said today.

Arriving at Parliament House this morning, Senator Lees said although she was surprised
by the news, she would also contest the leadership at any spill.
